Maroon, White Fight Fight Fight

Well, I had a Maroon & White filled weekend! Not my favorite colors, to say the least, nevertheless, I had a great weekend with the family & Hal. We went to the baseball games on Saturday, and Kolby got to catch the opening pitch from a boy scout who, let's just say, does NOT have a future in baseball. He threw the ball way over Kolby's head, and about 5 feet in the wrong direction. He was really cute though!
On a serious/very sweet note, after the boy scout got through with his lovely pitch, a little boy came on the mound to throw a pitch before the game who was part of the Catch a Dream Foundation. This is a foundation that allows kids 18 & younger who have a terminal illness to be able to have once-in-lifetime opportunities. This little guy is dying of cancer, and his dream was to be able to grow up and play baseball and throw the opening pitch for Mississippi State. He got up to the mound, and you could tell he was taking it very seriously. He wound up, and threw a perfect strike across the plate, and everyone stood up and cheered. Afterward, the Mississippi State Baseball team lined up, and they all shook the little boys hand. It was soo sad!!

Here are a couple of more pictures from the weekend, including a video of Shelby doing the chicken dance. She's a diamond girl, and they have to do it every game. Check out the little boy in the shot, he is sooo funny, and my mom says he does it every game. Oh, and of course State gave Ole Miss a shout out in the outfield. So sweet.

After the game, we played a very fun (family favorite) card game called Rook. If you have not played you must! Just remember this, Red One beats the Rook, and the Rook beats everything else! That is all.

My dad & his Poker Face.

That's all I got!! Just a wonderful weekend with the Mom, Dad, Na-Na, Pa-Pa, Kolby, Shelby, Hal, & Hank!!! Now back in Oxford & ready for Spring Break so I can get some wedding stuff done!

Hal says bring him BBQ!
Love, Bye!
